Your name is ZACH SNYDER, and you are almost ready to begin installing the game.
There's been a lot of HYPE about this game. You daresay that it's time to see if it LIVES UP to it all. A part of you hopes it is true, and another part of you hopes OTHERWISE.
Either way, you figure this is a good time to contact your SERVER PLAYER and make sure she is ready to start running the game. May as well contact your friends and let them know you're about to go in, as well.

Hey, Claire.
You got the server disc? My client disc's runnin' and waitin' for a connection.
A half hour into the future, and you are staring death in the face as a meteor comes rocketing down towards your house. You quickly shut your laptop, causing Pesterchum to log you off. Your new HORSESPRITE watches with you as your ALCHEMITER dispenses a very odd item; a blue crystal duck. Suddenly you find yourself aiming for it from afar. A perfectly lined up shot later, and you feel yourself being rocketed forward as the meteor strikes.

You wake up to find yourself in a strange place. It certainly looks like Texas, but it definitely isn't. The winds weren't this strong, and your farm animals and crops were still there, and it was much hotter than this.
You decide to go back inside and sit down, opening your laptop. Pesterchum logs you back in.

((OOC: Here's how it goes. Zach can be pestered before, during, and after his entry into the medium. Please tag which of the three times it is while conversations are going on. Multiple threads for different times (one Before, one After, for instance) are allowed. Pesterchum logged him off for a good 15 minutes while he was being transported to the medium, which may or may not be a sign that something happened.
