CP: None of us are safe from ☥his even if we s☥op now, our only hope is ☥o con☥inue on and ge☥ each o☥her inside ☥he game as soon as possible.
CP: Yes. "Inside" is wha☥ I jus☥ ☥yped.
CP: Bea☥ix's hive is no longer where i☥ s☥ood. I☥ was ☥ranspor☥ed ☥o ano☥her loca☥ion ☥hanks ☥o a game cons☥ruc☥, and ☥herefore saved her from ☥he impending impac☥.

You can't say you were expecting this. Not the memo, so much as the whole contents of it. Especially the meteors.

There are me☥eors raining down abou☥ ☥o kill us if we don'☥ ge☥ our asses in gear in a ☥imely manner.
How could ☥his possibly be worse?
Unless of course you're referring ☥o your placemen☥, in which case yes, i☥ could be worse and I carefully planned ☥his ou☥ in advance for good reason.

The subject and urgency within had you concerned, of course-- but the text and it's distinct colour leaves a sour taste in your mouth.
It takes you four times to reread the ordering your kismesis has penned.
Four.
Not just because his quirk burns you, or the fact that his use of last names forces you to do a little searching on the side so you know who it is he is referring too (nor was it the fact that 'Lyn' still makes your eye twitch-- no troll has a three letter name) no.
It was the name of your client player.
...
Oh hell no.
AS: o^o did you deliƁerate on the listing at all.
AS: o^o or did you do this to me on purpose.

Of course, all your plans regarding him usually work. He's rather easy to take low blows at and the amount of satisfaction you get in such is unmatched.
Sadly, you know there's not much time.
CP: I☥ was en☥irely in☥en☥ional, yes.
CP: You said you would be doing your bes☥ ☥o impress ☥hem, so I merely figured I would pu☥ you in ☥he bes☥ posi☥ion ☥o do so.
CP: Bu☥ ☥ha☥ aside, we don'☥ have ☥ime ☥o mess around on ☥he subjec☥. I wasn'☥ exaggera☥ing on ☥he urgency and danger we're all facing now.
CP: Have you looked ou☥side?

And, more to the point, you can see the meteors from the mouth of your cave, which had sent your blood pusher somewhere about midway up your protein chute; it hasn't seen fit to come down yet. You've got a lot of horizon you can see from your cliff, with no lights around to dim the view of the sky, and most of the meteors appear to be falling far enough away from you for it to almost seem like an innocuous meteor shower...except that you can count two that appear to be on a direct trajectory line with the city you've always visited to steal from. You can't imagine where the others are landing.
You are fucking terrified. You've been ducking death all your life, but only because you've always had the means to do so. But if a natural disaster like a meteor strike wants to wipe you out, there is fuck all you can do about it...
...unless Cero's statement that somehow a video game can teleport you all somewhere safe is true. Which, all else seeming accurate, it probably is - but you're too logical and too paranoid to just swallow it completely at face value.
are you fucking serious
how the fuck could a game call down meteors
how the fuck could a game TELEPORT people in real life
where would it eVen send us
no subject
Though, that's still a very real danger if everyone doesn't get to safety in time.
Tha☥'s some☥hing we can dwell on ☥he physics of la☥er.
As of righ☥ now, i☥'s our only chance for survival and i☥'s wha☥ saved Bea☥ix from ☥he me☥eor ☥ha☥ decima☥ed where her hive used ☥o be.
You'll s☥ar☥ ☥o unders☥and be☥☥er once you have ☥he server and clien☥ files fully downloaded and connec☥ed.

You realize rather quickly, that this plans leaves a majority of trolls on a planet being bombarded with meteors. Not exactly a very good plan, so you feel you must voice your concerns. Maybe you're the only one thinking about them, but at least this way someone spares them a passing thought.
REGARDLESS, you are shamefully excited about this new turn of events. A game that teleports people to new worlds! Why it sounds like something out of a comic book! What else could await you in this game but amazing heroic adventures? You dare not consider that it could possibly just be more death and terror by things like flaming rocks from the sky, because surely the game wouldn't save you from danger only to try and kill you again right after. Right? Right?
Wait! I'm sure this is great for everyone who gets teleported into the game, 8ecause we'll be safe.
8ut what a8out everyone else? We're just going to leave them here?

A7ter everyone hAs success7ully entered the gAme, And everyone WILL success7ully enter the gAme provided they 7ollow the pArAmeters set here, it would be prudent o7 us to open Another memo to 7AcilitAte the exchAnge o7 in7ormAtion Amongst the gAme's plAyers. Of course, losing was never an option. Well, it might have been if you had foolishly persisted in your belief that losing would not necessarily be tantamount to the death of your friends and self in this game, that the ADVENTURE promised would prove a SEMI-INNOCENT EPIC by Alternian standards, but THINGS HAVE CHANGED in the course of the last ten minutes in ways you had not previously fathomed. THINGS ARE CHANGING.
Adelle, I require the TrolliAn hAndle o7 MenkAr posthAste.
